Adult Ministry

Sunday Church School begins at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday morning. Our program year begins the Sunday after Labor Day and continues through the Sunday before Memorial Day. We offer classes for grades eight thru twelve, a multi-age class for grades kindergarten through grade seven, and child care for children three and under.

In our multi-age classroom we learn our Bibles through a variety of activities.  We hear the Bible Story, watch a DVD of the story explained, sometimes act out the story as well as a craft that reinforces the main theme of the story.  We end the class time with singing and prayer.  The older children in the class are helpful to the younger ones as they all learn together.

Our children learn through worship as well. We have a cry room where parents can be comfortable allowing their little ones to wiggle and play. The room is glassed off from the sanctuary, has a speaker, and is on the balcony level of the sanctuary.

A children's message is given early in the service, after which children in kindergarten and younger may leave the sanctuary with volunteer leaders for Story Circle Time.  All children are welcome to participate in our Sunday morning program whether they are accompanied by an adult or not.  We especially invite our neighborhood children to join us.
